Villa Jelita 2 is the newer of our two Jelita properties in Kedewatan: a cozy, recently opened one-bedroom that's already sitting at 5.0 stars across its first three Airbnb reviews. The arrival is the easy kind: parking is on the property itself, the lane is straightforward to find off Jl. Cocoa II, and host I Nyoman Suardika or one of the team meets you at the door. The young-coconut welcome drink waits on the dining table, and the first thing most guests notice is how quiet it is: Nikita's review specifically mentions birds and butterflies outside the villa, and one of the things Feyza said about her 8-day stay was simply that the location is 'a nice peaceful environment.' That's the entire pitch.

The single ensuite bedroom is set up for relaxed long stays: king bed with mosquito net and blackout shades, wardrobe and clothing storage, in-room safe, iron, central AC that the team runs through every changeover, Smart TV, and a dedicated workspace for guests with laptops. The bathroom adds a bathtub, hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel, hot water and bathrobes and towels in volume; it's set up to feel a little more spa than utility. The kitchen is fully equipped: stove, full-size fridge, kettle, toaster, blender, rice cooker, wine glasses, dining table, cooking basics already laid out (oil, salt, pepper), pots and pans, full dishes and silverware. The private pool sits at the side of the property with sunbeds along the deck, and there's a dedicated private outdoor kitchen with a BBQ grill and an outdoor dining area shaded for afternoon use. Kedewatan is on the western edge of Ubud and the location splits the difference between in-town convenience and quiet: 15 minutes by scooter or Grab to Ubud Palace and the central market, 20 minutes south to the Monkey Forest, 12 minutes east to Campuhan Ridge Walk, and 20 minutes north to the Tegalalang Rice Terraces. The Sanggingan cafe strip is roughly 5 minutes away for breakfast and dinner options, and Bintang Supermarket is on the same road for self-catering supplies. Honest about the quirks: this is a quiet, semi-residential area where you'll hear birds and the occasional distant gamelan rather than restaurant chatter, exactly what you want if you came for the peace, slightly underwhelming if you want to walk to bars at night (use Grab; it's reliable from here).
